A vinyl DJ since 1995, Mike has evolved with electronic dance music. It wasn’t until 2007 that mike switched over to CDs. Mike is rapidly gaining worldwide attention for his DJ sets and production. He recently played for Techno Beach in Fort Lauderdale, where the roaring crowd wouldn’t let him leave the decks. Mike is known best for bringing good energy, vibes, and respect to everywhere he performs.

Mike DJs with 2 CD books. One for warming up, and one for Melting down. He prefers not to use laptops since he feels it compromises watching and reading the crowd. Mike constantly dedicates his time to hunting down the next hot tune, simply for his passion for music and sharing new sounds.

In 2011 Mike started a party with 2 close dj friends, Omar G, and Bret Talley. For several years, they stuck to mostly throwing private house parties because most venues in South Florida (and perhaps the entire U.S.) don’t have the balls to bring in DJs that push the envelope and play the underground sounds so many of us enjoy. Instead they play your painfully bad garden variety Afrojack, Guetta, Angello, and other Fromage.

The goal for Techno Beach was to have a party at a beachside rooftop venue for our awesome friends and like minded individuals that enjoy underground sounds. Also we wanted to be able to invite in local DJs we’re friends with to play, and book the artists we all want to hear.

Eventually we found a local venue with a great location on the beach that lets us do what we do. The party has been incredibly successful thanks to the support from our growing group of friends collectively known as The Electric Sandwich Shop.
